O2 Ritz Manchester

The iconic Ritz Ballroom on Whitworth Street was built in the 1920s and has played an important part in Manchesters unrivalled musical history. The venue closed in May 2011 to undergo a full £2m refurbishment, including the restoration of original architectural features, extensive sound-proofing, and the installation of state of the art sound and lighting. The Ritz then reopened in September 2011 with a high quality eclectic and vibrant programme of live music, club nights, and special events across all genres of entertainment. Here at the The Ritz we host an exciting programme of club nights we are delighted with the response from promoters of all genres who'd love to be a part of the new era at the Ritz!
