Josh Turner (debut UK performance), Kip Moore, Asleep At The Wheel, John Paul White, Eric Paslay, Morgan Evans and Rhiannon Giddens are among the first wave of acts announced for
The Long Road 2019 which returns to Stanford Hall in Leicestershire from 6th - 8th September, following a hugely successful first edition that saw performances from across the country, Americana and roots spectrum.
Country superstars Kip Moore, whose Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck is a bona fide country classic, and Josh Turner, who will be making his debut UK appearance, are confirmed as this year’s Rhinestone Stage headliners, topping the bill on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th respectively.
Other first-wave acts announced include Thompson Square making their UK debut, plus Asleep at the Wheel, Eric Paslay, Lainey Wilson, Sam Outlaw and Liv Austen, among a hugely rich and diverse country, Americana and roots line-up. More acts will be announced in due course.
The Long Road presents one of the UK’s largest, most authentic celebrations of country, Americana and roots music featuring five stages of live performances and a wide range of additional offerings including songwriters’ rounds, a wellness area, a classic American car display, traditional Southern-style food stalls, and dedicated kids’ area. The festival’s varied live performance spaces range from its Rhinestone County main stage, to the much-talked-about Honky Tonk Bar and Front Porch; intimate, immersive spaces that transport their audiences straight into an authentic, Nashville-inspired world.
