Seven Little Sisters are a band that has existed in one form or another for almost twenty years, and naturally, during those years, band members have come and gone and thus the band line up has changed numerous times.
Following the release of the album 'Cow Trousers' in 1994, the band toured extensively around the UK and mainland Europe playing up to 300 gigs a year and gaining a large and loyal following.
Then in late 1996, disaster struck when the band tourbus - fully loaded for a German festival, complete with every instrument and piece of merchandise - was stolen on the morning they were due to leave. They still hired a van and played the festival with borrowed equipment, but the financial loss hit them hard, and everything seemed different. Within a year the band had split up.
Skip forward twelve years!
After noticing an interest in the band on YouTube, and with the help of various social-networking sites, the line-up from the 'Cow Trousers' era met up, and despite being older and supposedly wiser decided it was high time they should get back on the road.
Bringing together their own brand of 'Folk-Punk', mixed with a smattering of Bluegrass, Irish and Cajun, Seven Little Sisters ensure getting the place on their feet whether in a field of 40,000 or a small sweaty club of 150.
