GuilFest is an independent music and arts festival held in the beautiful surroundings of Stoke Park, Guildford.
Famed for its fantastically eclectic line ups and fun and friendly atmosphere, GuilFest offers a weekend of great live musical entertainment set across 8 stages, crossing all genres – there really is something for everyone! As well as live music, there is comedy, theatre, arts and crafts and all sorts of other entertainment.
With its MASSIVE 150 foot beer tent serving our very own GuilFest bitter, Calypso cocktail bar, Comedy Zone, Theatre tent, Dance tent, extensive KidZone and much much more, GuilFest caters for young and old alike - for local visitors or families wanting to just come for the day, or for the whole weekend for a 3 day mini holiday!
Guildford's outdoor swimming Lido and Spectrum Leisure Centre on either side of the festival grounds offer easy breaks from the main festival site with a refreshing swim as well as a showering opportunity for the campers.
Started in 1992 by Tony Scott, who still runs and directs the festival, the first festival attracted 1,500 people per day. Now in its 21st year, GuilFest is attracting up to 20,000 visitors each day and has truly established itself as one of the UK's leading festivals, winning the prestigious 'Best Family Festival Award' at the UK Festival Awards in 2006 and being consistently nominated for the family festival award and best medium sized festival award in the UK over the last few years.
