First Time: Staging Your Own Story Tickets

Part of a series of events developed with Nathaniel Hall and Dibby Theatre to mark the 30th World AIDS Day.

Have you ever wanted to stage your own story? Join playwright and dramaturg Chris Hoyle (director of First Time) for a writing workshop exploring the process in staging and developing that story that you've always wanted to tell. The workshop is aimed at artists that are looking for an inspirational starting point to create an exciting future piece of work for performance.

ABOUT CHRIS HOYLE

Chris is the dramaturg and director of First Time.

Chris Hoyle is a proud Mancunian playwright. His plays have been performed in the North for the last ten years. They include Tinned Up (The Lowry) Don’t Tell the Kids (Contact) Two Spirits (HOME) Broken Bridge (The Gap Theatre Project) The Manchester Project (HOME). His most recent production, The Newspaper Boy was programmed in the Queer Contact Festival earlier this year and received with critical acclaim.
