Death From Above 1979 Tickets

Re-uniting earlier this year, Death From Above 1979 sparked memories of their feral first incarnation. The Toronto-based band have only released one album, 2004's 'You're a Woman, I'm a Machine', which received critical acclaim and was certified gold in Canada in July 2006.

Splitting after the release of this album, the Canadian duo's live shows are already the stuff of legend. Playing at ear splitting volumes, the group's frenetic mixture of blasting riffs and electronic beats carved a hole in the music scene. Since then, the pair have completed work with solo projects such as MSTRKRFT.

Reforming to play at SXSW, the band's appearance in Texas almost caused a riot. Police waded in to control fans, with the duo blasting through an epic live set. Adding to the legend, a recent appearance in London whetted appetites for a larger tour.

Meanwhile, Death From Above 1979 are planning their performance at Reading and Leeds. The visceral live act join an eclectic bill, with the pair being sandwiched between The Streets and 2ManyDJs.
