US, multi-million selling sensations Boyce Avenue have announced their transatlantic return this May, with 3 shows commencing at Manchester’s Academy 2, and finishing up with 2 consecutive nights at London’s Union Chapel. This will be their first return to the UK since their triumphant 2017 European tour, which saw the band travel through Holland, France, Germany and the UK, concluding with a career-defining headline performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Boyce Avenue is the musical union of three Manzano brothers – Alejandro (vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals) and Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals). Taking their name from a combination of the two streets they grew up on in Sarasota, the Florida-based trio formed in 2004 and rose to fame in 2007 when they started posting videos of covers and originals on their YouTube channel – a channel which now boasts over 12.2 MILLION subscribers and 4.5 BILLION views; ranking theirs one of the most frequented worldwide, topping the likes of Justin Timberlake, Drake and Lady Gaga.
Famous for their strong acoustic sound and popular cover versions – their rendition of Ed Sheeran’s Photograph and Miley Cyrus’ We Can’t Stop both amassing over 47 MILLION streams each on Spotify – means they are one of the site’s most prolific artists. It’s with this global appeal, together with their constant keenness to represent artists from across the board through their innovative covers - Dua Lipa, Sia, Tracy Chapman to name a few - that sees them as one of the biggest live bands on the planet, having performed in over 30 countries worldwide. The band frequently tour North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East – visiting new countries every year. This massive global impression is reflected in their 3+ MILLION Facebook, and almost half a million Twitter followers – showcasing a legion of dedicated fans who will follow them anywhere.
