Bury The Met

The Met is an independent arts centre located in the heart of Bury, 20 minutes from the centre of Manchester. We have three performance spaces: the flexible Main Theatre, seating 250; the intimate Studio Theatre, seating 80; and our contemporary Café Bar. The Met features the best in touring theatre, music, dance and comedy in a year round programme of events.

By Metrolink:

The Metrolink tram system is so easy to use from the Manchester area ? and with the new lines open, now you can travel from Salford, too! Just buy your ticket, hop on and ride to Bury.
The Met is one minute?s walk from the Interchange ? just follow the signs for Tourist Information.

By Bus:

Regular services call at Bury Interchange from Manchester, Whitefield, Prestwich, Bolton and Rochdale.

By Car:

Head for Bury town centre following signs for East Lancs Railway or Tourist Information Centre. Car parking on Bolton Street car park, just a minute?s walk away. The Met is situated on Market Street.

Car parks are FREE after 6pm.
