The Offset formed in Spring 2015 by five mates from Tameside all with a passion for Indie music. After two months of intense rehearsals the band played a few small gigs resulting in an appearance at Manchester's Factory251. Following the success of this gig the band went on to play a number of gigs including Club Academy, then playing a headline set back at Factory251 and most recently playing at Academy 3 as a main support act.
The Offset comprise of Ethan Dowse (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Sam Cunliffe (Lead Guitar), Ryan Moss (Rhythm Guitar), Tom Stanley (Backing vocals/Bass Guitar) and Mckenzie Jackson (Drums). Musically The Offset play a combination of upbeat originals and well known indie covers, drawing inspiration from the likes of: The Courteeners, The Jam, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Who, The Stone Roses and Oasis.
