The Bunker Club Tickets

Our opening night on Friday the 28th of September features not only two of the hottest comics on the circuit at the moment but also two of the great bands currently playing in the region.

We start the night with Helen Keeler, a feisty comic from Birkenhead with an attitude to match. Go to YouTube for recent clips of her disarming live performances. Then we have Tony Basnett with his wry observations on life and what seems to happen to guys his age these days. Again you can check him out on YouTube.

The music kicks off with A Harp and a Monkey who are currently playing on the festival circuit and are known as "electro-folk storytellers from Lancashire". They are followed by a real bunch of raucous rabble rousers; Run Out The Guns with high powered songs of defiance and rebel yells.

We will also have an open mic section during the evening with at least two very promising local acts who we are sure will make a big impression.
