The Abyss presents... Tickets

THE ABYSS THEATRE COMPANY is based in Totnes, and SDAC's resident company. Led by National Theatre playwright Peter Oswald, the company is committed to creating ground-breaking and innovative theatre in contemporary verse.

The company works with contemporary verse,and has a core ensemble of actors with a range of backgrounds and skills including classical theatre, physical theatre, puppetry, circus performance, street performance and cabaret.

The company also has two incredible musicians who collaborate with it. The combination of Oswald's poetic writing with this mix of performers is theatre that is visually and aurally rich, and engages the audience physically, emotionally and mentally.
