Born as Suzanne Powell on March 8th 1977. Sue Denim is most recognised for being one half of the electro punk band Robots in Disguise.
Sue Denim met her best friend and future fellow band member Dee Plume when she was studying at the University of Liverpool, in 2000 they both formed the band Robots in Disguise they both recorded their first album “Mix Up Words and Sounds” through Splinter.
Sue Denim used to date ex band member of Sneaker Pimps and now front man of IAMX Chris Corner.
They both have tattoos on each others wrists of their surnames; Chris’ says “Denim” and Sue’s says “Corner”, Denim and Corner later separated.
During their relationship Sue Denim contributed her voice to Chris Corner’s bands Sneaker Pimps and IAMX, her voice appeared on “M’Aidez” “Grazes” (Sneaker Pimps) and “You Stick It In Me” “Missile” “Skin Vision” “White Suburban Impressionism” and “After Every Party I Die”
Sue is also a model for the London based jewellery company Tatty Devine which leaded in a complication between the company and Sue Denim’s band: Tatty Devine released 2 necklaces and a set of rings for promotion of the bands singles.
.Sue Denim has a side project named Sue and the Unicorn with several songs but no album releases.
