Sasha McVeigh Tickets

After a successful co-headline tour of the UK and Ireland in April and upon returning from her third tour in the US, performing on the main stage at some of the biggest country music festivals, Sasha McVeigh is heading back out on the road on “home-turf” for her ‘I Stand Alone Tour’ to promote her critically-acclaimed debut album. Joined by Nashville-based trio, The Cains plus The Loveless Effect, this tour is sure to be high-energy with an exciting blend of the British and American music spectrum.

From singing in the shopping trolley when she was three to performing on both sides of the Atlantic, British singer/songwriter Sasha McVeigh says music is her life. After completing Sixth Form College, Sasha made her first trip to Nashville, as a musician, to follow her dream and it’s been a whirlwind ride ever since.

Sasha has completed two tours in the US (2013 & 2014) and is currently on her third which sees Sasha performing on the main stage at five of the biggest country music festivals in America, alongside artists such as Eric Church, Toby Keith, The Band Perry and Keith Urban, as well as a headline show at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas.

A career highlight came in April 2014 when Sasha was asked by the head of The Academy of Country Music to perform at The Academy of Country Music Awards Kick-Off Concert with Hunter Hayes at The LINQ in Las Vegas. As a result of that performance, Sasha did numerous interviews and television appearances for outlets including CBS, ABC, GAC and CMT.

In March of this year, Sasha performed at the Country To Country Festival (C2C) at The O2 in London and was invited by Bob Harris to do an ‘Under The Apple Tree Session’ for Whispering Bob TV. Owing to her sold-out show at the prestigious Hay Festival earlier this year, Sasha was invited to perform live on BBC Radio 3’s ‘The Verb’ in the company of Stephen Fry and Irvine Welsh. Her music has also been played by BBC Introducing across all the local BBC radio stations in Great Britain via The Mark Forrest Show and she was subsequently chosen as “Best of the Best”.

Sasha released her debut album ‘I Stand Alone’ on June 8th which was met with five-star reviews from the press and the single, ‘Someone To Break My Heart’, was included in The Independent newspapers ‘The Playlist’, alongside Ed Sheeran, and was described as “brilliantly inspiring”.

In September, Sasha will be embarking on her first headline tour of the UK, with shows up and down the country. Having been named as “one to watch” by Taste of Country, The Boot and Review Journal, amongst others, it’s clear Sasha’s star will continue to rise.

“[Sasha] shines with an aw-shucks affability that’s irresistible…[and] seems perfectly poised for prime time” Review Journal
