Greetings from the Rhumba!!
As many of you may know already, The Rhumba will be presenting the Festival of House tent at Carnival Fixty-Six, over the weekend of 12/13 August, at Camperdown Park in Dundee, so we are going to dedicate this night to that amazing event. Hence we are…. Carnival Bound.
On Saturday at The Ice Factory in Perth, the Rhumba will bring along a quality line-up of musical maestros to keep you all entertained.
Headlining this event are Erol Alkan and Slam. This will be Erol’s first Rhumba gig and we are thrilled to welcome this incredible DJ to the Rhumba at long last. Slam - well, you probably don’t need too much introduction to these dons, given the amazing nights we have had with them over the years.
Joining in will be Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, who are also making their Rhumba debut. These guys know how to put on a Party. Alongside DABJ will be Perth’s very own sons - Groovement, so all in all expect another amazing night of quality tunage.
We will have 3 areas going off on this night, with Tom Simpson curating the outside area. Warming up in all areas will be a selection of Rhumba Resident DJs and good friends.
If this night is anything like the last gig in Perth, we are sure you won’t want to miss this, so please join us and help ensure Perth is absolutely rocking on 1st April. You would be an April Fool to miss this one.
