N.U.M.B. Tickets

Conceived in 2007, and continuously evolving ever since, alternative hip-hop band N.U.M.B. (Never Underestimate Musical Belief) have performed with the likes of Peter Andre, Arrested Development, Frank Turner, Finley Quaye, Mica Paris, The Magic Numbers, The Beat, Transglobal Underground, Zion Train, The Reason 4 and Stooshe. Festival favourites and with around 600 shows under their belt N.U.M.B. are a mix of Reggae, Indie, Rock, DnB and Pop. Their unique talent of blending musical styles and their ability in providing adrenaline fuelled live performances is backed by their talent to write great songs. Songs that are soulful, infectious, with 'hard to get out of your head' hooks that'll have you singing their tracks on repeat!

In their first year the band got through to the last 10 out of 30,000 bands in The 02 Wireless Competition which saw them perform in Hyde Park at the 02 Festival. They also came second in the UK heat of Global Battle of the Bands 2009 and in 2011 they were nominated for 'Best Album' and 'Best Live Act' for the South West Music Awards alongside Muse and Portishead.

Also in their first year, Ben from the band successfully gained sponsorship from International guitar manufacturer Faith Guitars and is still endorsed today. The band also secured sponsorship by urban outfitters THTC Clothing, an ethical clothing manufacturer who use fabrics like hemp and bamboo, and like Faith Guitars, N.U.M.B. can be seen reppin these at present day shows. Other sponsorships have included UK clothing label Fenchurch and Kangol Clothing.

In 2008 N.U.M.B.’s classic urban street song ‘Night Time’ was snapped up for Brit comedy film ‘Three and Out’ starring MacKenzie Crook, Imelda Staunton, Colm Meany and Gemma Arterton,  and in that year, while the band walked the red carpet with the stars for the film premiere, their Official Music Video for the track (filmed and produced by Realm Pictures), produced over 8,000 hits on Youtube alone. The song was also featured on the accompanying film soundtrack CD alongside Blondie and Elvis Costello.

Later that year the band performed in front of HRH Prince Harry at an intimate venue in the West of London. After the performance the band chatted with Prince Harry who expressed his liking for the band and their music, and said that he was going to play the band's CD in his car!

Since 2007, the band have written and recorded 3 albums, have performed at many festivals and venues including Glastonbury, 02 Wireless Festival, Windsor Gardens, Secret Garden Party, BeachBreak Live, Crealy Rocks, Colston Hall, Watchet Festival, Respect Festival, The Great Escape Festival, Farmer Phil's Festival, Solfest, Endorset iT Festival, Vibraphonic Festival, Aeon Festival, Lapstock Festival, South West Food and Drink Festival, Fordham Festival, Lowender Festival, Exeter Urban Skate Festival, Vale Earth Fair, The Clapham Grand, The Fleece, The Cavern Exeter, The Cavern Liverpool, as well as many of the smaller boutique festivals and venues.

They’ve appeared on BBC Radio Devon, Sky News, ITV News, HipHop Connection Magazine, 24/7 Magazine, Out of Hand Magazine, Express and Echo, The Herald, Weston Morning News, Exe FM, Palm FM, Exeter FM, Phonic FM, Riviera FM and efestivals.co.uk to name a few.

So what do they sound like? Hook filled 'stadium anthem' songs with intelligent raps, beautiful soaring vocals, hair-lifting harmonies, head nodding, foot stomping fat beats,  soul twisting bass, and topped with a strong reggae influence to make for an addictive urban vibe.
