Manchester Dyslexia Festival Launch Party

As part of this celebration of dyslexia there will be a drama piece that has been commissioned for the festival, a dyslexic poet, a dyslexic comic, an art book of work by 20 dyslexic, Mancunian artists, a guest appearance from Mancini Fires, a reggae artist plus the well-known Manchester band – Dislocation Dance.
This is a great line up of various creative talents living in Manchester!

• Rob Wheelden, dyslexic poet with kung-Fu.
• Mykal Moziah, reggae singer.
• Mancini Fires play acoustic.
• “We See Things Differently” play about dyslexia, written especially for the show by Daniel Toure.
• Tom Short, dyslexic comedian.
• Manchester band Dislocation Dance.
• Exhibited throughout the night will be the Dyslexia Art Book, put together by Emily Hayes and 19 other dyslexic artists from Manchester.
