Boyan Ivanov is one of the most promising young clarinettists today. He has already performed as a soloist, chamber or orchestral musician at many prestigious venues including Barbican Hall, Royal Festival Hall, St Martin in the Fields, Cadogan Hall, St John’s Smith Square, St James’s Piccadilly, Charlton House and Blackheath Halls. In 2010 he was awarded his Master’s Degree from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he was Principal Clarinet of the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra. In the same year Boyan won the prestigious Making Music Philip & Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists, as part of which he was invited to be a soloist of Dulwich and Warwickshire Symphony Orchestras.
