Jon Fratelli Tickets

Jon formed The Fratellis in 2005, when he teamed up with fellow Scots bassist Barry Fratelli and drummer Mince, following the gi-normous success of Costello Music, the group spent the next two years headlining tours around the world. Along the way, they gained a large international fanbase, and an unswerving fan and champion in Roger Daltrey, who invited them to open for The Who at the Electric Proms.

All the while Jon had been amassing a collection of new songs, ranging from the crisp, raucous '60s pop of "She's My Shaker" and "King Of Rock'n'Roll", to the classic American songbook rock of "Daddy Won't Pay Your Bill" and "The Band Played Just For Me".

Jon Fratelli's debut solo album Psycho Jukebox is chock full of the kind of solid gold easy action that makes you want to smile broadly, chant dumbly, dance sleazily, sing sweetly, grapple sweatily, drum manically, scream breathlessly, shout raucously, and throw the windows wide to annoy the neighbours. It bursts out of the speakers with a velocity and a melodic purpose that is vital and new and now. Psycho Jukebox marks something of a new beginning for one of Scotland's most prolific and talented songwriters.
