Inca Babies Tickets

Inca Babies are a post-punk deathrock band from Manchester, England, initially active between 1982 and 1988, but reformed since 2007 to play a 20th birthday party of IBD, the German agency which first took them to Europe, and they haven’t stopped since.

Founder member Harry Stafford’s penned three new albums since – ‘Death Message Blues’, ‘Deep Dark Blue’ and the forthcoming “The Stereo Plan” (sept 2014) - with more to come. Critics agree their shows are blistering, relentless dark blues-tinged guitar rock sets with lavish helpings of classics alongside great new songs.

With two number one indie chart singles, four Peel sessions and a Top 5 album in the 1980s, as well as hundreds of gigs across Europe and Scandinavia it’s no wonder the original Incas left a legacy. But with Rob Haynes (Goldblade) on drums and A Witness bassman Vince Hunt as the rhythm section, the reformed Incas have been getting rave reviews in Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Greece and Holland as well as at selected gigs across the UK, appearing with Lydia Lunch’s Big Sexy Noise, Zounds, SpizzEnergi, March Violets and Punishment of Luxury.
