Holmfirth Songwriter Splash Tickets

Holmfirth Songwriter Splash 2014 has a stunning line-up featuring some of the UK’s best song writing talent, headlined and curated by I Am Kloots’ John Bramwell.

John has been performing as frontman of Manchester’s I Am Kloot since 1999, and in that time has garnered major critical acclaim; retained credible, cult status; and developed a legion of devout fans ‘dedicated to spreading the gospel of I Am Kloot’.

It’s been an incredible couple of years for John with the band, with highlights including picking up a Mercury Music Nomination for Sky at Night and a number 10 entry into the UK Album Charts for this year’s studio album, Let It All In.

Now John is taking a break to perform an exclusive set of intimate solo gigs at some of the country’s best loved venues. Having been all over the world with the band these last couple of years, playing some of the most prestigious venues around, this is a chance for John to go back to his roots and entertain smaller audiences.

Other announced artists include Kathryn Williams, a Mercury Music Prize nominee who has attracted great praise for her beguiling contemporary folk music, David Ford and David Fidler, frontman of Manchester’s much revered Bluebird Kid Clark.
