Grimes

Grimes is the alias of Claire Boucher, a Montreal-based, Vancouver native, artist. Grimes fuses contemporary instrumentation with classical vocal practices from around the world.

She recently released a split 12” with d’Eon titled Darkbloom. In 2010 she released a cassette titled Geidi Primes and the full-length Halfaxa through Arbutus. In 2012, she will release Visions, a full-length which is being described as “post-internet” by Grimes herself.
