NOVA TWINS
Sistas in sonic mayhem, killer bass lines and nail you to the wall hooks, Amy (vocals/guitar) and Georgia (bass/backing vocals) like to write tunes, play shows, and wear custom made clothes and stack heels - all at the same time. Georgia’s thundrous bass and unique combination of FX pedals underpins Amy’s urbane lyrics and unique rockin’ yowl, theirs is rifftastic music - serious girl power motivation.

Reykjavíkurdætur (the daughters of Reykjavík) are a sixteen piece, all female rap group from downtown Reykjavík. Since the release of their first self titled single “Reykjavíkurdætur” in 2013 they have received recognition from acclaimed media all over the world for daring lyrics and a dynamic stage performance. The group performs as a collective, in solo’s, duo’s, trio’s and sometimes all sixteen together. This makes for a show like no other where the femcees spit in both Icelandic and English about topics such as sexual violence, politics, sexual freedom and the first world hype. It is safe to say Iceland had never seen anything like it, and you probably haven’t either.

ASHA
Asha emerges onto the London scene as one of the most hotly-tipped young female singer/songwriters of the year. Formerly a street-dance teacher, the raw sexuality as well as a knowing city-hustle exudes from her, simultaneously conjuring a mix of vulnerability, coyness, power and yearning.

Releasing her debut ‘We Can Do This’ last month without fanfare it immediately picked up critical acclaim online (Pigeons & Planes, BEAT, Indie Shuffle, WONDERLAND, The405) as Asha marked herself out by sheer force of will.
ASHA

The first release proper from her upcoming EP, ‘Chapters’ again cuts through the bullshit, breaking down the state of relationships in 2015. You can feel the frustration, the power and the secrets lying all around. A voice that’s captivating a new generation.

The elegant, subtle instrumental acts as a sounding board for that vocal and a frank message to come through in all of its glory (and uncertainty). Asha lays down a marker for realness, truth and passion. A new voice is on the radar.
