Taking place here at The Ritz on October 30th, Deathcrusher will feature grind legends Carcass, Florida’s death metal doyens (and one-time rivals of Carcass) Obituary, Canada’s avant-thrash heroes Voivod, plus mindbending sludge voyagers Herod. As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be a soon-to-be-announced special guest who are guaranteed to make this even more than the s(c)um of its parts.

This is a gathering of bands who both wrote the rulebooks on heavy metal and spun it off into thrilling new directions that’s proved fertile ground for countless acts ever since. But above all, Deathcrusher is going to be the ground zero for metal in its most potent, unruly and unrivalled form.
