Geordie quartet COVA CASTLE combine the heavy riffs, melodic hooks and on stage indie rock finesse like the wild spawn of The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys. The Newcastle-based band, comprising of lead vocalist and Guitarist Ollie Marks, guitarist Robbie Caruthers, bassist Jack Kelly and drummer Paddy Soulsby, met in college whilst each member played in different bands. They got together in 2019 and quickly gained a reputation for their energy filled live shows. In March 2019 they issued their first debut single, ‘I Said, She Said’ followed by ‘Ma Cherie’ and most recently ‘Give Me a Reason for Calling’. COVA CASTLE are in numerous ways unlike any other new act, as comfortable with their free-wheeling sound as they are with baring their soul.
