The last eighteen months have been quite remarkable for Abel Ganz – thanks to the current renaissance of progressive rock and a fantastic comeback album in 2014, which has been rightly hailed as the best work of their career so far, this period has without doubt been the most successful of their more than 30 years presence within the genre.
Having now completed a run of shows across festivals in the USA, Canada, Europe and of course the UK, Abel Ganz return to their home turf this December to play what will be their only show for the remainder of this year.

“We once more have some wonderful guests joining us this year and we are delighted to welcome Glasgow newcomers Big Hogg who have been described as including elements as diverse as Jethro Tull, Little Feat, the Canterbury Folk sound, Alice Coltrane, Trader Horne, Wes Montgomery, and Soft Machine. We have all very quickly become fans of this great new band and we are so pleased they have agreed to join us!” As well as Big Hogg we are also planning to include something quite special this year – a real ‘one off’ dimension that we cannot say too much about at the moment but will say more about nearer the time”.
This year's event is entirely in aid of the charity: https://www.maggiescentres.org/
