Abattoir Blues Tickets

Sense is the debut single from Abattoir Blues. A band at the heart of Brighton’s surge to the forefront of alternative music. Abattoir Blues are fronted by Harry Waugh who alongside The Magic Gang founded Echochamp, a new label/collective supporting the Brighton scene. The band recorded ‘Sense’ and ‘Fading’ with Steven Ansell of Blood Red Shoes at Brighton Electric Studios in two short but powerful 16 hour stints. The results are extraordinary; ‘After taking their time, these five especially appear to have landed on their own two feet. ‘Sense’ is a remarkable step up, one of the breakthroughs of the year. A deftly-applied, delicate build, it’s a far cry from the Eagulls comparisons their bolshy early work was lumped with. Suddenly they sound like a band breaking out of the coast’s confines.
