The Shuck is an exciting new restaurant and live venue open for just one week during the Whitstable Oyster Festival. It boasts unrivalled views across Whitstable Bay and has been carefully programmed to ensure it is the place to be for lip-smacking food & drink, riotous entertainment, and sizzling summertime vibes.
Restaurant by Day - serving scrumptious local produce by acclaimed Kent Chefs, pouring craft brews & local wines and mixing a devilishly good festival themed cocktail selection.......
Venue by Night - serving great food, music and comedy legends smack bang in the heart of historic Whitstable, including Craig Charles, Marcus Brigstocke, The Cuban Bothers, Hamish Stuart and many more......
Daytime restaurant and selected events are free to enter. Tickets required for Headline events.

Restaurant (Day-time sessions) Free to enter. Last Orders 4.30pm. Please note we are unable to accept advance bookings.
Food from the Grill and Oyster Platters will be available during evening events between 7pm - 10pm.
A fully stocked bar will operate during all sessions. Challenge 25 will be in operation - please ensure you have adequate ID should you be lucky enough to appear under 25 years of age!
Cash and Cards Accepted.
Please note that customers may not bring their own food & drink into the venue. Glass is also prohibited.
Toilets - Toilets are available adjacent to the venue.
Age Restrictions - All ages are welcome during the day time sessions.
Evening sessions Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an Adult (Subject to Licence).
Discounts: Discounts are not available for ticketed events.
Accessibility - The venue has step free access and accessible toilets.
For comedy night wheelchair positions will be available at the end of the seated rows nearest to the entrance or towards the back of the seated arena.

Venue Location & Directions
West Quay. Whitstable Harbour. Whitstable. CT5 1AB
Walking - The Harbour is situated between Harbour Street and the Sea Front on the eastern side of the town. Enter via the Harbour Gates on Tower Parade or walk towards the harbour along the sea wall from the town centre. The venue marquee is situated at the end of the quay.
Trains from London - From Whitstable train station follow pedestrian signs towards Harbour and Sea Front via Railway Avenue and then Cromwell Road.
Trains from Herne Bay Direction - Cross to the opposite platforms using the pedestrian bridge and follow directions as above.
Driving - Use the Park and Ride facility on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th. During other dates please use Gorrell Tank Car Park. CT5 1LB. Use public transport where possible.
Cycling - There are railings available adjacent to the venue to lock bikes - please note however that any bikes left over-night may be removed by the Harbour Master.
