    The Room

    The Room

The original acoustic duo have evolved over the last couple of years into one of Manchester's hottest bands. With no electric guitar in their set up, this indie band with a difference makes The Room highly memorable with their sound. Now backed by spectacular drum beats and funky bass riffs, they continue to write hit after hit. Keeping with their original style of acoustic guitar, classic piano solos and trade mark vocals, this is evolution at its best.

From some of Manchester's hottest and much sought after live venues to the quirkiness of London's Camden Town, A North South divide is none existent. They reach out to audiences far and wide all with commonality, they are all taken in by this unique sound. Whether you like soul, rock, funk or RnB, it will be hard for you to not like The Room. Listen to the feed back in the audience and you will usually hear "this is the one I like" or something similar. The truth is, you hear this for every song. It all depends on the audience member, and what genre they actually listen to.

When you go to a venue and live bands are playing, you hear music. You hear a sound. When you see The Room playing, you hear songs. Great songs! Each song crafted and finished with elegance. The Room have created their own sound, leaving you with a different lasting impression after every individual song.

The band's influences vary from the traditional Oasis, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Stone Roses to Toto, Elton John, Thunder, Blur, Buckcherry and Beautiful South, They say the list even includes Take That and East 17! Maybe this somehow explains the vast audience of all ages. Either way, whatever genre they are tapping into, it all looks positive.

The band have also been involved in a number of charities. Performing sets at the Evening event for COPS (Care of Police Survivors) and more recently playing for Oxjam - Make Music Change Lives. Another tick in the box for these very likeable, and Very talented group of lads from the North.
