International hip hop legends The LOX are set to celebrate 30 years in the game with their loyal London and Manchester fans as part of their 30th Anniversary Tour of the world. The Lox will headline at Indigo at the O2 on Friday 16th May, then they will head toManchester Academy on Saturday 17th May. Tickets go on Venue pre-sale this Wednesday 4h February at 10am and General sale Friday 7th February at 10am.
The Lox played a sold-out Indigo at the O2 last May to celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop, the night was a roadblock and saw The Lox play their bangers to their legions of fans and took the roof off. Next year’s show promises to be even bigger as Jadakiss also celebrates 20 years of his ‘Kiss Of Death’ album.
Comprised of Sheek Louch, Styles P, and Jadakiss, The LOX entered the scene in 1997, after Mary J. Blige passed on their mixtape to P Diddy. The single ‘It’s All About The Benjamins’ garnered global attention and debut album ‘Money, Power & Respect’ (1998) went platinum and gold album ‘We Are The Streets’ followed suit. Each Lox member has had individual successes with critically acclaimed solo albums, businesses and tours. In 2014, ‘The Trinity EP’ saw sold out shows across the US, Canada and the UK. In 2016, in partnership with Roc Nation, The LOX released ‘Filthy America… It’s Beautiful’. In 2020 came fourth studio album ‘Living Off Xperience’ and in 2021, The LOX made history with The Diplomats, aka Dipset in one of the most legendary VERZUZ of all time.
The Lox come fully loaded with big tunes ready to drop again in London, from ‘Ryde Or Die B****’, ‘All For The Love’, ‘Money, Power & Respect’ to ‘Recognize’.
