The Ferryman Tickets
The play that everyone’s talking about. Set in rural Derry during the harvest, Jez Butterworth’s latest masterpiece opened to rave 5-star reviews at the Royal Court Theatre earlier this year, with Time Out calling it “the play of the year”.
The Ferryman has since moved to the West End, taking up residence in the enchanting Gielgud Theatre. Watch in awe as Butterworth’s Irish tale of hardship and politics unfolds.
The year is 1981 and the Carney family’s annual harvest celebrations are interrupted by the news that a missing man's body has surfaced in a nearby bog. With this ghost from his time with the IRA rearing its ugly head, Quinn Carney, played by the superb Paddy Considine, struggles against his desire to remain a peaceful farmer.
The Ferryman is the dramatic event of the year, with Sam Mendes directing and a 38 strong cast –including a real life baby-, it’s guaranteed to be a memorable show.
