Summer Sundae Weekender is a festival set in Leicester’s De Montfort Hall and Gardens from 12th to 14th August 2011.
Now in its eleventh year, the event has grown from a modest one - day affair headlined by Morcheeba and Lambchop into an award- winning three-day festival with camping. The event is often lauded for despite having a capacity of 7,000 people, still managing to keep the intimate, relaxed feel which launched its success. Summer Sundae is also praised for having an eclectic line-up which last year ranged from Seasick Steve to Tinchy Stryder and from Eliza Doolittle to Mumford and Sons.
