The evening performance will be hosted by Bob Cryer and Priyanga Burford, with a bill of professionals including Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize nominee Piers Torday and stand-up Jenny Collier, as well as students selected from the morning workshop.
A Pulp Diction evening has few rules and the content is as diverse as the performers themselves.
The theme is mirrors. Performers’ names are drawn from a hat and they respond to the theme in their personal style, with short stories, stand up, a puppet show or poem, taking the audience on a fresh and adventurous journey
The best performers will go on to Pulp Diction 5 at Café Mila, Godalming on 17 October.
