Formed in 2009, Guns or Roses began extensive rehearsals to launch themselves as the ultimate tribute to the Hollywood hellraisers. Now thirteen years on, they have firmly established themselves as one of the best tribute bands out there.
 
Since their concept, the band have gone from strength to strength, wowing audiences and gaining thousands of fans with their performances all over the UK, Ireland and Europe. They have headlined festivals in Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, Bulgaria, as well as all over the UK and Ireland. They appeared at the legendary Isle Of Wight Festival in 2017 where they played to a packed out, at-capacity Electro Love tent and were invited back in 2018 and again in 2022. They have even headlined a festival at Donington, home of the infamous Monsters of Rock! Their biggest audience undoubtedly came in 2015 when the band were chosen to appear in an episode of 'Don't Tell the Bride' as the show moved to BBC One. The episode aired to 3.2 million people, making it the highest ever watched episode at the time and the bride and groom have remained good friends with the band.
 
Since the very beginning, Guns or Roses have managed to maintain a far more constant and reliable lineup than most tribute bands, something that helps guarantee that audiences always get the high quality, accurate and energetic show that the band has become known for. With signature equipment and custom made costumes, the band expertly recreate the sound, look and attitude of the LA legends like nobody else. Dizzy Lizzy are the most fantastic live tribute act dedicated to one of Rock’s all time legends ‘Phil Lynott’. A long established tribute to THIN LIZZY, since early 1994. Their sound & set-list faithfully recreate that trademark Lizzy sound.

One of the country’s leading and most dynamic tribute acts, they are the only act to have headlined both, the ‘Vibe for Philo’ in Dublin & ‘Remember Phil & Gary’ event in Holland. Also appearing at many prestigious venues, around Britain, such as the Matthew street festival, O2 Academy Liverpool & more recently O2 Arena, London. 'Brooklyn Bowl'. Plus other large capacity venues including Butlin's.

They have also performed and toured with the original Thin Lizzy guitarist Eric Bell. Eric Bell’s reaction on first seeing the band…’I could only watch three numbers owing to the emotions. The resemblance to Phil and the mannerisms and playing, it was spooky – it made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck…’ They can also be heard on the documentary CD ‘I am just a cowboy’.

Although based in the Midlands, Dizzy Lizzy tour extensively throughout the UK and have performed in Europe & as far afield as Los Angeles and Dubai. -
