Thursday 26th Nov 8pm
Time & Again Theatre Co Presents Greyhounds

The year is 1941 and rehearsals for Henry V are underway...

Greyhounds entwines Shakespeare's famous story of 'warlike Harry' with the everyday trials and tribulations of small village life during World War Two. Whilst the war rages above them, the residents of Shuttlefield struggle to stage a production of Henry V to raise money for the local Spitfire fund. New writing combining a taste of Shakespeare, a touch of comedy and true vintage flair!

Greyhounds was the first play by new young writer Laura Crow. It premiered as a one-act play at The Greater Manchester Fringe Festival in July 2017 before transferring to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018 for a highly successful run. It has since found life as a full length production, touring historical sites and rural locations across the UK, including RAF Cosford, the Severn Valley Steam Railway, and was due to be performed at Yorkshire Air Museum as part of the VE Day 75 celebrations before the Covid-19 pandemic struck.

"You should think yourself accurs'd if you miss this clever and charming production."

This event is all seated. Seats will be allocated on arrival to assist with social distancing and assuring we can achieve the maximum socially distanced capacity.
