This months line up includes the wonderful Jo Enright who has worked  alongside Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights, with Steve Coogan in I’m Alan Partridge. She played the female lead Sue, in Life’s Too Short, directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant plus Jo has recently received rave reviews for the part of Angela in ITV’s The Job Lot. Alongside acting Jo is also a highly acclaimed stand up comedian, has appeared on many TV shows and toured all over the world performing her stand up. Jo Enright at Dulcet Sounds, Laughing Cows Comedy Manchester
Her comedy awards include the 2002 Chortle Award for ‘The Best Female Circuit Comic’ and the 2001 ‘Best Female on the Jongleurs Comedy Circuit’ award.

Dana Alexander at Laughing Cows Comedy Manchester Women In ComedyAlso on this bill will be, Dana Alexander, one of Canada’s most outspoken and hilarious women. The only black female comedian on the circuit in Canada. She was voted in the “Best Discoveries” by Toronto’s renowned Now Magazine in 2006 and has since been included in their "Best Of" issues three years in a row, easily making her one of Canada’s hottest emerging young comedians. Her Canadian TV credits include Halifax Comedy Festival (CBC), Video on Trial (Much Music), women’s only network The Slice Network and The Comedy Channel (XM Satellite Radio) and this past year her national half hour comedy special was aired on CTV. 

Kate Fox at Laughing Cows Comedy ManchesterKate Fox is a writer and a performer with comedy, Northernness and asking awkward questions running through everything she does. As a stand-up poet she has been in demand at literature festivals across the country. Her solo comedy shows have toured from the Edinburgh Fringe to the Southbank Centre and been broadcast on Radio 4. She has undertaken many commissions- from being Great North Run and Glastonbury Festival Poet in Residence to creating pieces for the Great North Passion on BBC1, the Daily Politics Show on BBC2 and “The Verb” on Radio 3.

Laughing Cows Comedy resident MC Kerry LeighHosted by our very own Kerry Leigh, described by Janey Godley as 'a wonderful host and comic, sharp and very watchable.' Kerry Leigh is FUNNY. She writes all her own comedy material and does all her own washing. She has hosted Laughing Cows Comedy for ages (since 2004) through several pregnancies, one marriage, and two anaphylactic shocks.
