Comedy Showcase : Josefin Johansson, Pernilla Hammargren and Therese Sandin
Manchester Gullivers
Therese Sandin could be your girlfriend or midwife, but let's hope she's not. She's the typical girl next door, if you happen to live next to a mental institution. On stage she talks about her misery and struggles to find a partner in the loneliest country in the world and about how slippery babies really are. She has performed all over UK, Ireland, in New York, Norway and Sweden and has supported many of the biggest names in Sweden.
Josefin Johansson is a comedian and actor from Stockholm, Sweden. She started out as as a presenter on Swedish national radio radio in 2006 and since then has appeared on several of Sweden's biggest TV panel shows such as Intresseklubben (QI), Doobidoo and Så ska det låta.
Nominated for last years Swedish Standup
Awards for Best show and Best female comedian. Currently she is writing and performing in Helt Sant, a comedy show for kids and has just wrapped the first season of her own television series Tidsoptimisterna for Swedish National Broadcasting company.
Pernilla Hammargren is a comedian and started as an actor in the political and punk theatre group Teater Salieri but discovered in 2006 stand up comedy and has not let go yet.
She runs a prize winning, feministic standup club Stand Up Yours (with Amanda Lindholm and Shanthi Rydwall Menon) at Södra Teatern in Stockholm.
She has also worked as editor, comedy writer and has been heard on swedish radio and performed with the show Pride Comedy at many prides in Sweden.
