As part of the Average White Band Hamish Stuart toured the world, released songs like "Pick up the Pieces", "Let's Go Round Again" and "Walk on By", and been sampled by the likes of R&B and Rap legends Beastie Boys, Nas, TLC, Arrested Development and A Tribe Called Quest.
Since then he has worked with global superstars Paul McCartney, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson and Aretha Franklin. In July he will bring The Hamish Stuart Band to The Shuck playing his solo material, AWB classics and much more.
