Manchester Art Gallery together with Northern String Quartet and Fairylight Concerts are delighted to present a unique and magical event on Wednesday 17th December 2025.
Following the huge success of previous events Northern String Quartet are returning together with Fairylight Concerts and tickets are now on sale for two very special performances.
Join us in the Atrium surrounded by twinkling lights for a magical evening of festive music from a variety of genres to include classics, pop, film and traditional carols – there’s something for everyone to enjoy to get you in the mood for Christmas!
There will be two concerts and festive drinks and snacks will be available to purchase in the Victorian Galleries 30 minutes before you move down to the Atrium to take your seat for the concert amidst a backdrop of lights.
Northern String Quartet, an award-winning group, with 20+ years experience, are no stranger to Manchester Art Gallery, playing at weddings and corporate events and they are delighted to once again offer a unique experience, putting a classical twist on some much loved Christmas tunes that you will no doubt be familiar with which are guaranteed to have you singing along!
