A couple worn down by terminal illness receives a brief spark in the return of an old college friend. Miz is bedbound with multiple sclerosis and is cared for by her husband, Jam. One afternoon, Jam bumps into Reece, with whom he lost touch over 25 years ago. Jam, Miz and Reece hold a reunion and it is evident a frisson exists between Miz and Reece, who have one last fling before she dies and Jam & Reece are left to reflect on their loss.
