Netball Manchester Live

It's back!

Netball Manchester Live returns to Manchester Arena in 2018, for the third time.

Manchester Thunder will take on defending Superleague champions Wasps on Saturday, June 2, which promises to be a pulsating match on the city's biggest stage.

Organisers will be hoping for record crowds for the game, with Thunder planning to have 22 bees (the symbol of Manchester) printed on specially-designed dresses, to remember those who lost their lives in the Arena attack in May.

The Black and Yellows have previously faced Hertfordshire Mavericks in the semi final of Superleague in 2015 at the 21,000-capacity venue, and then a Roses Rivals clash against Yorkshire Jets in 2016.

Manchester Thunder managing director Debbie Hallas, said:

"We can't wait to play at this brilliant Manchester venue and get the chance to bring netball fans from around the country together, to watch two of the Superleague's top teams."

The match will begin at 7pm on Saturday, June 2, and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. Warm-up games will take place before the Superleague match and further details announced in due course.
