Pendle Young Musicians Bursary
Throughout the 2017.18 season, which features one of Europe´s leading chamber orchestras and artists of international standing, Manchester Camerata will collaborate with Pendle Young Musicians Bursary in supporting the next generation of classical music stars. Each musician will receive expert guidance from members of the orchestra as well as the Music Director, Gabor Takacs-Nagy, giving them invaluable experience working with a professional orchestra as well as featuring as a soloist in the concert. Each musician will have a new piece of work written/arranged for them by Camerata´s arranger/composer in residence, Simon Parkin. We are grateful to s number of private donors who have enabled this important concert series to continue and thrive. They are Ruth Sutton, Judith David and Chris Birt.
