As the first ever national league in the UK, the NBL is shown live on Sky Sports, and gives fans a chance to get behind their favourite national players and six franchise teams. All matches from every match night will also be available via digital streaming in the UK and across the world taking the NBL to a global audience.
Loughborough Sport are one of six franchise teams, with the others being from Birmingham, Derby, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Surrey. Each franchise will feature GB’s best players and new, emerging talent. The NBL matches will be played to the best of five games with games to 9 points including an exciting tie break set. The five matches will be men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed.
The second season of NBL kicks off on 3rd November 2015 with monthly match nights through to April 2016. This will then be followed by a one day knockout competition featuring the top four teams in May 2016
