Life in Color, “The World’s Largest Paint Party,” began in 2006 on college campuses in Florida. Founded by Sebastian Solano, Paul Campbell, Lukasz Tracz and Patryk Tracz, LIFE IN COLOR, is a production and promotions company that stages more than 200 concerts annually in the United States and Internationally. From a small college event to a world-renowned live concert, LIFE IN COLOR transports fans into the ultimate mind blowing, head bumping, and heart pumping experience! Featuring the worlds biggest DJ’s, soaring aerial acts, stilt walkers, contortionists, and fire shows…leading up to the ever so famous PAINT BLAST!
LIFE IN COLOR continues to expand its family and feature live performances by some of the genre’s most revered DJs. For the third Manchester installment, Life in Color have pulled out all the stops to secure there biggest UK line up to date.
Topping the bill is Australian electronic music duo – KNIFE PARTY. This pair have bulldozed through the dance music landscape with relative ease in the last few years. Consisted of two members of the iconic group Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen have put their touch of genius to this hugely successful project. Since their inception in 2011, the domineering duo have been a mainstay on the top of huge festival line ups and have sold out the most prestigious venues across the globe.
Next up is one of the most impressive young leaders of the American trap scene, California-based OOKAY exploded onto the scene when both his freshman and sophomore releases on Ultra Records charted in the top 10 on Beatport. Since then, he’s shown no sign of slowing down, working with some of the greatest producers in electronic music while developing a signature style that weaves across genres.
South American born CHUCKIE heads back to the Victoria Warehouse in 2018. His leading mixing skills and distinctive productions not only show an indispensable complement to the Dutch dance industry, the international dance-scene has also been giving him a warm welcome. Driven by ambition, enthusiasm and pure passion for music, his characteristic set makes the crowd go wild and his many productions reflect his true visionary in his craft works.
Starting out as a highly popular party in Amsterdam, exploring genres from R&B, hip hop, funk, soul, house and trap music, KRISS KROSS AMSTERDAM is on the rise, expanding to a same-named stage act, while also introducing a clothing line and, now, productional team. Now the boys are ready for more, releasing their second single ‘SEX’ together with Los Angeles group Cheat Codes in February 2016. The track is a free interpretation of Salt 'n Peppa's rap hit 'Let's Talk About Sex', and gets the support of some big names in the industry like Diplo, Carnage, Lost Frequencies, and many many more!
Lastly but certainly not least is Life in Color 2018’s special guest… VINI VICI. Vini Vici is the new project of Aviram Saharai & Matan Kadosh, both well-known, experienced electronic music producers, and was formed with an intention to express their love for the old school sound, paired with progressive ideas. After the huge success of their premier EP 'Divine Mode' and their follow-up ‘Back Underground’, ‘Expender’, ‘Anything & Everything’, and ‘Veni Vidi Vici’ tracks, they have continued to produce outstanding tracks which have gained them increasing attention which looks set to further explode in to 2018.
