At the age of 15, Lauren Zhang won BBC Young Musician of the Year 2018 with virtuosic ability and musical understanding way beyond her years. For a pianist, performing Rachmaninov’s 3rd Concerto is akin to climbing Mount Everest without any oxygen. To be able to scale such heights when you are only 17 makes this performance even more extraordinary!
