LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS - SONGS FROM STAGE & SCREEN
Sunday 9th August indulges the inner thespian via the theme of ‘Songs from Stage and Screen’. Two celebrated artists who are no strangers to the boards, Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow and singer/actress Elaine Paige OBE will bring favourites from the West End and Broadway to life, backed by the superb Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. As previously announced Sunday will also see the return to Lytham Festival of Britain’s Got Talent tenor Jonathan Antoine. Also to take to the stage will be young soprano Laura Wright.
Lytham Festival regulars will also enjoy the much-loved quintessential British Picnic evening, with plenty of Union Jack Waving and Sing-Along Songs, culminating in the Biggest Ever Firework Finale Lytham Green has ever seen.
