    Keg + Attawalpa + Idle Hours + Dig This DJs

    A collaboration between five Manchester cultural forces, the live debut of Tell Your Mates is set for Wednesday 24th November 2021. Here to cure your midweek blues, we bring three of the best new bands live and direct to the Northern Quarter as part of Night & Day Cafe's 30th Birthday Week.

    Tell Your Mates presented by Yuck Magazine, Night & Day, Uskees, Track Brewing Co. & General Stores.

    KEG
    Brighton-based seven-piece KEG have introduced themselves in swift fashion with singles Heyshaw' and 'Presidential Walk', coinciding with the announcement of their signing to Alcopop! Records and the news of their debut EP 'Assembly', due October 22nd. A push-pull nature can be heard woven into each of their compositions, what you may not hear upon first listen is the achingly personal complexion of their lyricism as well as the slew of influences instilled into it by its instrumentalists, all of them developing their craft in the backdrop of eclectic musical backgrounds.

    * Manchester debut

    Attawalpa
    One of Yuck's best mates, Attawalpa (AKA Luis Felber) navigated himself through the first lockdown, then a second, playing a string of small shows in between, he managed to maintain a sense of positivity in an otherwise negative external environment, writing and recording into the midnight hour, and feeling happy with the results his latest EP 'Patterns' marked a departure into an altogether more mature sonic output.

    * Manchester debut

    Idle Hours
    Emerging from a forced-yet-productive hiatus, Idle Hours followed up their well-received debut release 'Scream In Stereo' with an anthemic entry 'Made Flesh'. After a year out of the game, they're back with a bang, already playing an acclaimed show at the Castle for Sabotage MCR.

    Dig This
    The brainchild of Barovian DJ Liam McMillan, you can expect to hear the finest selections of Psych, Alt, Indie, and everything in between throughout the night. Having done the rounds locally, supporting the likes of Belle & Sebastien, Tell Your Mates marks his first ever Manchester slot. Can you dig it?
