The highlight was The film

Paid around £40 for two tickets to see the film at the pop up cinema at 55 Portland St. Manchester. The film was fantastic, great plot, great acting and throughly enjoyable. However, I left feeling thoroughly ripped off. Got to the venue 15 mins before screening as directed. There were two girls who told us to spend 15 mins looking at the views which we did. They spent the time playing on their phones leaving us in a massive empty space with no atmosphere whatsoever. It's a shame as a little background music wouldn't have cost a lot and would have made all the difference. The place was really cold, to the point that I stopped concentrating on the film. The advertised headphones and IPad for everyone to listen to the dialogue didn't materialise and the 'Champagne' came with a half hearted help yourself at the end would have been better at the start. What really pissed me off was the bloke at the end showing us out telling us that the tickets were two for one the next day! Love trying new things and the concept was great, shame it was only the film that delivered.
