18-year-olds Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson, known to their combined 14 million social media followers as “Jack & Jack”, have been best friends since kindergarten. Their classroom antics were known throughout school and they always talked about pursuing a career where they could tap their crazy humor and passion for music and entertaining. The summer before their senior year, they began making Vines, and within 18 months they propelled themselves into the hearts of over 5 million loyal fans.
Their Nerd Vandals Vine went viral and was hailed by the Huffington Post as “the perfect Vine.”. They have since created vines to increase public awareness for skin cancer awareness, anti-bullying and safe driving. In addition, they have worked with a number of national brands in various capacities, including Verizon, Pizza Hut, Michelin, MUDD, and Material Girl, to name a few. They also partnered to create two hot games on the app store, the Jack & Jack Vines Game and Let It Goat.
As of Winter 2014, Jack & Jack have over 5 million followers on Vine alone and are developing their skills in delivering longer format sketches and music videos on their growing YouTube channel. With over 6 million views, their most popular YouTube video is a music video of their hit song, “Wild Life.”
