“Italian techno with an artful, emotive edge” – Clash Mag

After the sold out launch of new album Where The World Ends at Archspace, Italian producer Indian Wells is on the tip of everyone’s tongue. With the likes of Clash MagRansom Note, and London in Stereo praising his particular style of emotion-fueled, electronic inspired techno, Indian Wells is quickly finding his spot in the limelight.

Up until the release of his latest album, Indian Wells was perhaps best known for quirkily displaying his passion of tennis by building his tracks around samples of the sound of tennis balls being whacked back and forth. Although a bit eccentric, his love of sampling sounds that occur in the everyday and turning them into compelling, gritty, and beautiful songs, showcases the extent of his talent.

In Where The World Ends, Indian Wells leaves behind his tennis obsession and explores the concept of boundaries. The album is a thoughtful collection of songs that represents the gradual evolution in the producer’s life – slowly moving away from his tiny home town towards city-led existence. His music focuses on hypnotic vocals, mesmerising beats, and a chilled out electronic vibe reminiscent of Bonobo.

Support for this night of groundbreaking ambient electronica comes in the form of Yucatan Records’ latest signee PBSR. Emerging as a new name on the indie electronic scene, PBSR has released an encompassing debut EP, …and dusky doors, that takes you through caverns, canyons, mountains, and galactic skies of sound; signatured by his deft use of electronic beats, piano melodies and that subtly soulful voice.
