HOCC grew up in Hong Kong and Montreal. Her unconventional musical performances deliver strong social messages and challenge gender norms, and have captivated a multi-generational audience in Asia. She supported students in the Umbrella Movement and has been politically resilient. BBC listed her in the “one hundred influential and inspirational women of 2016.”
She set up her own record label goomusic HK, and held her recent concert “Dear Friend” at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
